It has been used before as a way of setting the bombs off - so I think they shut the lines as precaution! Also it was mentioned that they didn't want any terrorists conversing!

thats what people are saying but doubt its true. not sure if they mean they have happened or for us to look out for them?
I'm just going to stay at home for a bit and avoid central london. All my plans this week involved going up there but i think we'd all rather be safe than sorry.

At least here on CNN they are not talking about chemical attacks, they say G8 will keep going, the Queen will be a parade tonight and life will just try and stay as normal as possible-

I wonder if this is just a warning that the future Olympics will not be safe? And not have anything to do with the G8 convention? Just thinking out loud and hoping those injured can get help quickly-
I can't believe the amount of scare mongering already! I have just been reading about the high alerts in Manchester and a poor young girl is panicing - asking for someone to tell her if there is going to be a bomb in Manchester and if it will get her!

One of my good friends from high school, is from London...and most of her family lives there. They are almost all ok, except for her brother, Everton. He is the manager for the London Transport. He's missing. She's very upset right now, please say lots of prayers. This is just giving me chills because it is so much like 9/11. I can't help but to cry right now.

Don't they realize this isn't going to do ANYTHING except make the British people stubbornly dig in their heels and unite to give 'em whatfor
? Did 9/11 not teach them anything? This country was like a fireant hill that someone had stirred with a stick after that! Hitler and the Third Reich couldn't conquer the British people, what makes these ... persons ... think that they can?
