Hopefully it's just as a precaution as were on the main rail line to London.
I hope it is just precaution! I wonder if they have done Manchester Picadilly too then?!

Do you think the airports are safe? we've been told to stay in because of our proximity to heathrow and loads of counsel workers have been sent home.
Nicky my company was going to be doing some work at Stanstead Airport late tonight, but the airport security has just rang me after having an emergency meeting to say we couldn't go in until further notice.

Wow, this is insane! I've been reading all the news coverage here in Canada as well. What the hell are wrong with people!!! No wonder I have cats, I wouldn't want to bring children into the world the way it is.

I was going to book a cab now to see if it could take me home - it costs about £35 though but work can pay.

I just want to go home NOW....
And guys I am sorry to go on but I feel so uneasy sitting here with all that s hit happening a few streets away.
Gilly don't worry chick!, were all here.

I think they are just checking all the train stations and stuff as precautions just in case!

They just broadcasted the news conference. The officials there are asking all workers to carefully plan and check their routes home and make their way home safely. The busses are not running nor are the subways- there was no mention of airports yet- They are going to examine all the trains, then get drivers on them and move them to locations as soon as possible- this is so insane-

I tried the Rathbone Hotel this morning - they are all fully booked! ppl have hung about after Wimbledon and Live8 so London is chocca! My cousin lives in Maida Vale and offered me a room at his flat but I don't really want to walk all the way there when I don't know the way. Plus if I can't get a cab then I think it's safer to stay inside.

I dunno what to do and think I will play it by ear..

This is not the way I want to wake up...hearing British voices, so serious but calm and steady coming out of my radio..as I woke up I realized something must be horribly wrong and said to dh, something's happened, what's happened.

This just makes me
My thoughts and prayers are with all of Britain....home of so many of my ancestors.

Simultaneously - first in Liverpool St, then Aldgate... can't remember the rest though.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed 33 fatalities, and said there were fatalities at the fourth site. Buses are supposed to start running again this afternoon/evening.

I'm so worried for him because even though he's indian he looks mixed race or arabic and i'm scared some idiots are going to try something. My arabic and mixed race friends are all scared too.

I can get a bus home!

The number 73 - but I expect it will be diverted big time cos it drives via Euston & Kings Cross areas.
