The Nerve of That Landlord - Page 2

I was wrong about her having moved to get away from her ex. She was supposed to, but apparently never did. I found out from a mutual friend. I found out something very scary, too. Those apartments are just around the corner from my house, right across from the store I go to every day. I thought it was in a town a few miles away.
There was a piece in the local paper again this morning, expressing outrage, so even if she has to move, I expect she will have help from the local PD and concerned citizens. I don't think she will be left homeless. People around here are pretty good about helping those in need, especially ex Marines.

Maybe, maybe not. But often women who are with abusive men often (not always) but often seem to need to have a man around and usually pick another abusive person to be with. It is a vicious cycle and one that these unfortunate women seem to have a difficult time breaking with so eventually the likelihood of another abusive male coming around are pretty good.
