I am surprised. I know Time inc turned over his notes anyways, so maybe it's just like "ok you have the notes, lets' get this over with" I hate to see the pressure put on the reporters to turn over sources. I do know though that, as my legal minded sister explained to me about the laws in these matters, if a law was broken reporters are under a different set of circumstances if they protect the source. So our precious 1 st amendment is not so at stake.

Boy if so, Mr R is in big doo doo, although I know he will find every way to get out. Including saying he didn't "knowingly" give up the source and it can be parsed ala Clinton (although worse in my book cause Clinton just had sex, Rove would be outing a CIA operative putting her life in danger and endangering any work she was doing for national security)
