I was also reading this in my paper this morning on my way to work. What idiots would do such a thing? Makes me wonder why people are allowed to carry such weapons. If they are being used for sport then they should be used in the correct places not in public. Could have been worse if any children were involved IMO

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
I saw it in the free Metro paper that you get at my train station this morning

I'd like to do the same thing to the creep that did this, right between their eyes!!!

Crossbows are illegal in this country as well, unless for sporting reasons.

W/ the best cats
Only a terrible human being could have done such a thing! Poor cat.

And yet it's amazing it survived.

i also read that in the Metro. The cat was so lucky, but if the poor cat had been a feral, it would have had been a different story. Dont know how these sick people manage to get hold of things though.

It's terrible to hear that people do those kinds of things to animals, but I've seen it up close and personal. About 10 years ago when I lived with my parents..their old grumpy neighbor shot our cat Tigger with a BB gun. This guy shot anything that went anywhere near his backyard (miserable idiot). Our cat lived... but due to swelling around his spine was paralyzed for 2 months.

It sickens me that anyone could do that to any living creature. What these thugs dont realise is that Cats are most often someones beloved pet or 'baby'.

If my cats came home injured like that I would hunt down whoever did it and after recovering every penny I'd spent on vet bill shoot a sizeable arror through their skull.

When our cat was shot we knew right away who did it. My mom went over there and had some choice words for him (he admitted to doing it), and then a month or so later the old guy died of natural causes. I'm sure with morals like his he didn't go anywhere nice!
