is scratching common for a kitty? he scratches especially when he just woken up, not all the time, i don't see any dandruff or fleas, no hard scratch where it bleeds, he's an indoor kitty, thanks

have hime checked next time he goes to the vet... for fleas check under the chin for blackish acne like stuff and flick it on to a white paper and sprinkle with h2o if turn s red it is fleas...
Hopefully he is like the rest of us and just iches from time to time.. My Zoey is still scratching at her collar..
