Driving back to Tennessee from Delaware this weekend made me wish we had a Particle Transporter---like on Star Trek so we could just "beam" ourselves home instead of driving 8 hours
.

I've always wanted a unicorn and a time machine, too.
What would you like to have-------that doesn't really exist???

Oh I've always wanted a transporter! Especially since Brendan makes me watch The Next Generation reruns ALL THE TIME.

I'd also like a machine that could stop time, but allow me to keep moving. That way I could catch up on things if I'm terribly behind, or even get more sleep if I haven't had enough. That would really be great!!

Those are the ones I dream about most frequently...

I have always wanted a remote.

NO.... a special remote control that allows you to pause your kids and cats. You can keep them from growing big if ya like or even let them grow big but just pause them when they are doing something wrong!!
Thats what I want... so if anybody happens to have one..... just give me a buzz.

Yeah, I'd like those too - especially the stopping time one! (like the girl from 'Out Of This World' could do by clapping!
)

Maybe a telepathic headset - so you don't have to receive messages all the time! Then when you want someone to call or something, you can just tell them subliminally!

I'm sure I have more, but I can't think of them right now!

I always wanted a car that you just tell it where to go and it goes there. Especially on long trips, so the "driver" could just relax and enjoy the scenery or read a book or whatever and not endanger other people like the drivers who do read a book or just enjoy the scenery do now.

I have always (ok, for the past couple of years) wanted to be a witch (as in Harry Potter type witch). I've wanted to go to Hogwarts and study spells and potions and learn how to fly on a broomstick. I long to ride aboard the Hogwarts Express after having successfully made it to platform 9 3/4, and to wear dark robes and a pointy hat.

... maybe I'm just a little nuts. (=

That may not be too far off the mark if a Roomba had an on-board GPS!!

Ah, I want a sewing machine that could sense the edge of the fabric and stitch an exact 1/4 or 1/2 inch (or whatever) seam accurate to 1/100 of an inch. That would make matching complicated patchwork so much easier.

I'd like one of those, too...but I'd also like it to have a "mute" button!

To be able to turn back time and put right what you did wrong.

To stop time and be able to shop without people bumping into you, only this time i'd be the one doing the bumping

For a long haul flight to take only 30 minutes.

To read peoples thoughts at the press of a button.

To be able to eat forever and not put on any weight

I wish they made giant food like fruits and veggies, so I could have a giant grape.
Of course, one day they might actually make that.

Otherwise I would wish for a way to go back in time and put the brain knowledge I have now into myself when I was only a baby, so I could change some things in my life.

Not that my life is horrible, but I would just want to change some things

An anti-gravity sled. Yeah, or a machine that alters gravity enough to make lifting heavy items and carrying them easier.

A contraption that will clean up after me would be nice, too.
