she hates my husband, tolerates kids

I bought 'Willow' about a year ago, i wasn't living with my husband at the time, but he did come over quite often. Willow is a siamese cat with an attitude! She is totally my cat. She puts up with the kids not too bad but she hates my husband. At first she tolerated him but as time goes by she is getting worse towards him, growling, hissing, scratching, yelling at him, he still doesn't live with us but he is over quite a bit. Any advice would be appreciated. I will not get rid of her! Need peace!

I would try and make him the primary care taker while he is at the house. Let him feed her and give her treats. You can also have him leave a sweatshirt that he has worn so that you can leave it in the bed with you. The more familiar she becomes with his scent, the easier it will be. Siamese especially have a way of letting you know what they want or don't want. It will take some energy on his part, but if he loves you, I am sure he will work with her. He should also try talking to her in his sweetest voice. Even if she is giving him attitude. I am sure once she realizes that he is the "good guy" she will come around.
