The White Cat - a story of how I befriended a feral cat

I recently wrote a story of about a feral cat and placed it on my web site. The story is based on a true experience, although I used a little literary license in writing it. I'd like to know if I've included anything that might be harmful if someone tried to use the story as a guide to taming a feral cat.

The story is in 4 parts. The total length is about 5,000 words, so it's not a quick read. I'd be very appreciative of any constructive criticism you might have.

Awesome job, John! I hope that more TCS members read it. Perhaps you could post it in "Paws & Reflect" section of the Cat Lounge. You have a wonderful, practical approach to befriending a cat and your story is a must-read for any novice "cat-tamers". ( I reluctantly use the term "tamer" as it implies, to me, a dominate & conquer situation as opposed to gently and respectfully establishing a loving, trustful relationship with cats).
