Hi guys! I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion on the newish Eureka Optima. I really really really want a Dyson, but I can't afford one right now since I'm a newly graduated college student. I'm going to have two long-haired cats in a pre-furnished apartment, so I really need something that picks up hair well. The Eureka seems to have a decent price, and its lightweight, which I like, as well as bagless. Let me know please! Should I try it, is there something else I should try instead, or should I just save up and get a Dyson no matter what the cost? I'm hoping not the third, at least for a year or two! Thanks!

Any 100 dollar hoover will work just fine. Why waste money on a Dyson It is still just a dirtsucker.
Dysons are very much worth the money. I've heard good things about the Eureka though! Check out www.epinions.com. The reviews on that site are pretty reliable and there might be some up about the new Eureka. Some day I'll get a Dyson or Oreck, but they are really expensive. Unless you have severe allergies and/or asthma I think you'd be good to go with the Eurkea.
