When I first got my cat, I used to give her fish oil from a capsule, once a day. I had just heard this was good, but now I would like to make sure before I do it again. Are there any reasons why this would not be good, or a particular kind of product that is better (if it's ok)....thank you.

Yes, she has soft fur but I am thinking her skin may be dry. Which would you suggest for this, and are these sold in pet stores or would I just buy the kinds that we ourselves use? Thanks again.

I use Now "Max EPA" brand Omega fish oil capsules sold in health food stores. Works great to eliminate cat dandruff and improve skin and coat.

Fish oil is good for cats, but prohibitively expensive- try cod liver oil, it gives you the same results and is cheaper, just use it sparingly because it tastes so nasty.
