Yesterday was my anniversary

My hubby and I have been married for 10 years. We got married the day after Christmas 10 years ago. We had to get married then because he was in the Army and was only home for two weeks during Christmas. So we got married, and then he left again one week later. Thankfully, the Army cancelled his POS and he got to get out of the Army very early.

I can't believe we've been married for 10 years! It doesn't seem like that long, but it seems like forever too.

Last night we went out to dinner to a fancy restaurant called the French Room in the Adolphus hotel in Dallas. It was very good, very fancy, and very expensive. We had a great time!

Anyway, I just had to share this great milestone in our marriage.

Tigger - We don't do something every year. It's pretty hard to get a sitter since we were married the day after Christmas. Actually, last year we were home with two preschoolers who had the flu. Wasn't much fun. Doug took me to this same restaurant 3 years ago when I was hugely pregnant with Adam. He figured I deserved a treat for carrying around that huge boy for 9 months!

Debby - We love going out to eat too, not just fancy dinners either. I'm happy just to go to TGI Fridays if we have a sitter! I do love those expensive places though, even though it put us way back financially for this pay period. Oh well!

Ohhhh, TGI Friday's "used" to be my favorite place to eat ... I need to get hubby to go there with me, again!
