Last night as I pulled into the parking lot of the bldg. I live in I saw sitting under a car a small kitten that looks to be 2 - 3 months old. I tried to get near him/her to see better but of course she/he skittered away at a high rate of speed...lol I think he is living under the chinese restraunt next door but I'm not sure of this. I am going to bait a trap ans set it nest to the hole in the foundation and see if he can be caught and socialized. I really don't want to see him live a short dangerous life "on the streets" Wish us luck please.

All the best in your capture of the little kitty - hope you can rescue him/her - it's no life for a kitty in the big city without friends.

I don't think so but I'll foster him and socialize him then find him a great home.

What you are doing for that kitten....IMO there are few causes more noble. I wish you and the little baby luck!

I wish I could say I do it because it is noble and good for the world and all like that but the truth is I do it because it is so much stinking fun...lol

Please ask around the neighborhood about new kittens before you trap him, though. There are a lot of new pet cats just going out for the first time at this time of year - he may have a home already. There are a lot of cats that won't let strangers approach them. They're not necessarily lost or feral.

I'm an old hand at this. I live right downtown and there aren/t too many houses nearer than about 1/3 of a mile or so. I am pretty sure he lives under the chinese rest. but I will check around but he is awfully young to be someones pet wandering around,...

Follow the thread for further developements, Thanks

We've had some well-intentioned people turning "new cats on the block" into the local shelter recently, and some frantic owners stopping by looking for their missing kittens. Oh, well, it would be worse if people didn't worry about the kits.

Well so far no luck the little monster either is too smart, not hungry enough or doesn't live where I thought he did. I have been checking the trap every couple of hours. Well we'll keep trying.

Maybe he truly is a new pet as someone suggested and he is home? If not, I hope he is somewhere safe and you find him. My kitties have their paws crossed for you!

44Still no sigh of the lil sucker. I guess he moved on or perhaps he really does have a home. I hope he does anyway. Well I will keep an eye out for him.
