Okay, so it's Saturday morning here and I've just had my toast and jam. Plus the only thing I have to do today is laundry, so being at loose ends I've come up with a very un-scientific poll - favorite fruity toast toppings!

I LOVE mango jelly! I always buy it in the big tubs at Sam's Club. It's really sweet though, so you feel sick if you eat too much.

I've never had a mango. I'll have to try it out!

I have to say for toast and biscuits I am a tradionalist and love lots of butter and strawberry jam. mmmmmmm

But for desserts I love, love, love lemon curd. I make my own so I can make it as tart as I like (storebought ones tend to be too sweet for me) and it makes a lovely counterpoint to cakes, tarts or any other sweet dessert.

Raspberry! It makes an excellent filling if you put it between 2 layers of cake. We had that for our wedding cake. Absolutely fabulous!

Which kind did you have on your toast this morning, Amie? And what kind did you vote for?

I've recently discovered Cherry Jam and that's what I had this morning and also what I voted for.

mmmmm...I'll bet it's good!!! I love cherries!!! Can't believe I've never tried it!

We bought some strawberry preserves from Mayes Farm market way out St. Joe, the day we went strawberry-picking last month. It's soooo good!

We also bought some berry honey while we were there. It is awesome!!!

I voted for blueberry, but I actually don't have a favorite - it all depends on my mood. I'm allergic to most fruits, anyway. Yesterday I indulged in fresh raspberries, and have spent all day today slathering prescription cream on my hands and feet.
