Okay my mum gave me one of her other irons because it irons smoothly compared to the blue one.
So i just plugged it in and i could smell vinegar burning, i realised it was from the iron!!!!!!!
Then when i was pressing that puffing button all this kalk came out and it was even brown? i just ironed part of bf's white shirt and well i had to turn it off because it gave it a weird colour while ironing.
My mum used it in sicily and it was fine. I just hope she didnt pull a joke on me because she gave it to me yesterday

What do i do?
Go back to the blue one? or just throw out both irons?

It sounds as though your mom used vinegar, to clean the iron. Fill it with distilled water and iron an old sheet or towel, until it runs dry. That should take care of the problem. Always use distilled water, in an iron.

We have rust in our water here and that happens. I agree with the above post - it should be fine if you do that.

I HATE ironing. I always toss an outfit I plan on wearing into the dryer to fluff it up a bit.

I have heard of people ironing socks and undies, I just figured it was a expression of someone being really bored.
I didn't know it was a real thing.. UMM I couldn't see myself doing that. LOL

yes finally my mum replied to me she put vinegar in it and she apologised for not telling me earlier she may have forgot??
Oh well doesnt matter.
Im going to get the old bedsheed and run it through and through before i can iron again.
I couldnt get the ironing water from walmart because i threw up today and its going to close in less than 4 mins
So i will just have to use bottled drinkable water. I wont use tap water anymore.
Well looks like that Benny has to buy me a new ironing board and iron for birthday

Hey lacey if i had a dryer i would do the same thing
This way it would give me less work than picking out cat/my hair haha

Cindy! I dont iron Bens undies or socks, tea towels and towels anymore because its pointless as they get used with in two minutes and in the washing basket again!
I have special house clothes that are a pair of sport pants and a t shirt to wear around the house because i dont go out every day.
Where as ben has to work for the majority of the week and sweats alot even in winter

I don't iron much. Last year, I bought a cute blouse, wore it once, washed it and then said, "No freakin' way!" It came out of the dryer, all scrunched up. It went into the Goodwill bag, right away. (It was a $5 blouse so, no great loss.)
