Swollen Paw!

I think my 4 month old got stung by something when he was playing outside on his leash. He pounced on something they yelped and ran away. But he's not putting pressure on that paw and it's starting to swell.

What can I do to treat this? Is this something that needs to be checked out now by the vet or are their symptoms I should keep an eye out for? I wasn't sure about cats and allergic reactions to stings.

Is there anyway to get the swelling down to help with the pain??

I would go to the vet just to make sure. It's too big of a risk not to.
