Whacked in the face by a golf club

I was playing mini-golf with my little sister at the local fun park. Then, out of nowhere, I feel this WHACK on my mouth and nose. My lips split open down the middle and I started bleeding like crazy. (Thank God my nose wasn't broken, but it does have a huge lump on the side.) My sister really needs to get it through her head that you only need a little swing to get the ball to move 2 feet. That's the last time I ever go mini-golfing!

I remember when I was young, my sibs and I were playing baseball, I was the catcher. My sister hit the ball and threw the bat backward and the bat whacked me in the eye!

I never thought it was true that you could see stars until I got whacked across the nose with the edge of a Monopoly board (long story). Broken nose, 2 black eyes. The thought of getting hit in the face gives me the shivers!

Oww! I'm holding my own nose at the thought of it....makes me think of the poor kid I accidentally whacked with a huge stick when we were kids because he was harrasing my friend and I.....(I didn't even hit him hard enought to bruise him like that). Hope you feel better soon!

Hope you went to your doc or ER...just to be safe that there are no facial fractures. Feel better fast..do not take aspirin for pain, it will thin your blood and might cause bleeding.
