Punkin is running to her litterbox very frequently, my husband and I noticed this Christmas Day, and started to check the box once she leaves. There are only a few "drops". She doesn't seem to be in pain when she "tries" to urinate, she doesn't meow, or cry - but we are concerned. We use a clumping litter, so it's easy to tell how much she's tinkled. She's still playful, but I've noticed she's been laying around alot more. I'm concerned that she may have a urinary tract infection, or crystals. She's always been a healthy cat, and has never had to go to the vet for health concerns. She's 5 years old, and was spayed when she was young. Any ideas?

Heather,
I would take her to the vet to rule out any urinary infections....

I am not an expert, I am speaking from personal experience...

I agree, please have your cat checked by a vet ASAP! Hopefully, your cat has a problem that can be easily treated, but having a difficult time urinating could also be a sign of something more serious like an obstructed bladder.

There are other more knowledgeable people here who may be able to give you further help.

In my opinion and experience, sounds like a trip to the vet. Please keep us posted.
