Pregnant Mommy won't go in the birthing box

My cat Baby is due in about a week. I took a big cardboard box and put some newspapers and then a couple of my old shirts in the bottom. Baby will not go in the box. Is there any way I can get her used to it? It's in my closet which is always been her safe place away from the other cats and the dogs. I know she'll have them where she wants to but any ideas on how I can entice her to at least try the box? I thought about putting a little canned food in there for her to just get her in there to try it out. Thanks for any help!
I am planning on getting her spayed as soon as it's safe.

mine didnt go near it until she started to give birth. she doesnt need to go in it yet, just show her its there.

relax and take a deep breath! she'll know what to do when the time comes.

you could always offer her an alternative if your really worried.
