I joined this site about 6 months ago when I got my 1st kitten, Puppy. She has been through a lot with her health and her socialization, but we r all getting along great now! Tonight, I heard a loud meowing at my townhouse (2nd floor) door. I opened the door to find a large orange and white tabby trying to run inside. I was able to push her out a bit and let myself outside with ther to give her some food. She is so sweet and was rubbing against my legs and letting me pet her. She looks clean, although she hasn't been brushed in what looks like forever (judging by my pants). Here's my question... is it safe to let her inside? Puppy has just gotten used to us and I am afraid of illness or fleas or worms or fights. I can't sleep knowing she is out there meowing like that. She had to have been somebody's cat, right? Please help me to know what to do. I don't even know if it is a boy or a girl.

I would bring her in and put her in the bathroom away from the the other cat until you can get the orange one to the vet. Have the vet check for a microchip she sounds like she might be a lost one-
