Hi there!
I haven't posted in a while, but I'm back and about to adopt a new kitty!
I am getting him through the Animal Outreach Society. Its a really great group that has the cats who need homes stay in foster homes instead of a big shelter. I emailed someone from there, and she suggested a few cats, and I think I've decided on one. Here is his picture:
I decided to adopt an older cat because they have so many older cats who need homes (by older I mean not kittens). This little boy is 10 months old.
I'm really excited! I went out and bought a second litter pan, a second set of food dishes, and a TON of new toys.
I am going to be really careful about introducing him to my existing cat, Silas. But Si is really good with other animals. He gets along pretty well with my parents small dogs. But I still plan on keeping them separated for a week or two, doing the whole scent thing to get them used to each other.
I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL SATURDAY!!! This will be the longest 2 1/2 days ever!
