Boy, do I feel silly! I think George may be Georgia! I have never had any trouble distinguishing boy kitties from girl kitties before. I thought he was a boy from a very young age and never thought any more about it. Well, yesterday "he" started exhibiting signs of heat. I checked again, and sure enough, no sign of any little male parts.

Just to let you know, you are not the only one who misdiagnos' these things. Some of us breeders have trouble for the first weeks in a kittens life, we say that "the testicle fairy comes and goes".

My husband's grandmother's cat was believed to be a girl for 16 years. The Grey Cat was fixed when it was a year old, but Grandma never bothered to ask for any specifics...
