I feel so nasty.

I came home from work yesterday to find the fire alarm had been going off all day (there wasnt a fire tho) it was really noisy and my cats were in the house. The alarm must have been going off for at least 6 hours. the poor cats, kiki had been sick and both of them didnt look very pleased. I feel so sorry for them, they wouldn't have been able to escape the noise.

Anyways, I think they are both ok now. they seem to be hearing fine and are playing as if nothing had happened. I still feel bad tho

I know ! Poor kitties. They're fine now though but I still feel bad !

I'm giving a neighbour a key to our flat in case it happens again.

My house alarm went off after 3.a.m in the morning a few weeks ago and Rosie and Sophie ran for cover to the far end of the room

It's went off once when i was at work, so i've left my neighbour a key because i also felt bad

Don't worry though they'll soon forgive you after some loves from you

Good thinking. Poor little kitties, but I'm sure they have already forgiven you!

MommyCat and I came home one evening to the shrill sound of a computer's overheat alarm going off. Sounded like a smoke alarm! At least our cats have other rooms they can go and they didn't seem upset by it.

I know what you mean! We had to disconnect the clock/radio and we plugged it in the next day. We forgot to turn off the alarm choice and when I came home the alarm (which was the radio) was playing music with the volume up all the way. Poor kenny was hiding in the bathroom terrified. He forgave me though.
