Congrats on the new vacuum, Fwan!! Wanna come do my house next? Careful, though. Sui attacks vacuums.
It does feel good to get new things, doesn't it?

Rosie jumps up on the windowsill and watches the vacuum like a hawk, but Sophie hides bless her

When i finish i have to get down on all fours and call out for Sophie, then she comes out purring and gives me a headbutt

Ive never had a cat who liked being vacuumed. Billy will run and hide, but Blossom's like "Im so tough, this don't bother me a bit!" but she still runs when the vac gets close. Whats scary though is when you realize all the dirt that you were living with and didnt know!!

What kind of an air conditioner did Ben get? How is it "vented"? I've been looking at "room ACs", but our bedrooms all have French doors rather than windows, so a lot of hot air would get in around the side and top if we stuck the hose out of the door. Tomorrow it's supposed to be cool - hooray!

Except that gorgeous ring, right! But I know what you mean, something to help make the daily chores easier.

We bought ours from saturn for 169 euros its on discount untill monday i think?
its called Suntech wellness.
We didnt get the packaging because it didnt fit in the car as we had bens parents and sister in too so we just got what we needed that was in the box.
We have the same problem about the windows as we arent allowed to make a hole of course but you know how you can pull the window a bit so only the top part is open? well we got an extension tube today from Toom wow 15 euros for a piece of thing but now the air conditioner is actually on the floor not on the chair here i will take a pic for you tricia
(its actually really good, im wearing a jumper right now because im soo cold but ben has his top off and enjoying the coldness!

Speaking of airconditioning, Gavin and I went to the movies last night (We saw "Rize" about street dancing in LA--very good!). It was SO COLD in there!! I had on long pants and a jacket and was still cold. We had to sit on top of each other to try to stay warm. Ha ha ha. I'd never been happier to step outside into the heat! The attendent said it was 62F in the theatre and the temperature control was broken in there! whew!!! Hope your place doesnt get that cold, it was terrible!

I got an email from a friend yesterday. The air conditioning in her office building is malfunctioning, and right around her desk it's 30° F, even with the vent closed, so she's using a space heater. In other spots it's way too hot.

Fwan, I guess you didn't need the air conditioner today! It looks like we're going to have to wait till we get new doors put in - ours don't open from the top. How many times did you vacuum today?

Wow. I've always wondered if those type work well. I like the idea of it being portable from room to room. I don't have air conditioning right now. The unit (window mounted) I had was so old and noisey that I couldn't sleep.
