Good morning! I go to Petsmart at least twice a week to get Juicy stuff and of course I always have to go see the cats up for adoption. It always makes me so sad seeing them locked up in the cages.
There was a 12 week old kitten with beautiful markings. You can hardly tell in the picture, though, cause it was taken on my cell phone. He is adorable, I want to take him home.
But, more than anything, I want to take this little girl home. They estimate she is about a year old and she only weighs 4 pounds!!! It's what it says on the card anyway. It seems a bit light, but if you could see her you would understand. She has BEAUTIFUL colors and markings. Her face is so sweet and innocent. She is such a petitie princess. I want her sooo much! If only I could bring her home
Here's a couple pics of her. They don't do her justice, though. I really wish you all could see her in person. It breaks my heart that she doesn't have a home.
When I'm petting her, she cries and reaches her arms out to touch me, wanting so badly to be loved and to get out of the cage.
Here's a couple pics. I'll take more of her when I go back tomorrow night.
Please, somebody, drive to Evansville and take this sweet girl home with you!!!
Something that bothered me terribly happened as I was leaving the room where the cats are. A young boy of about 12 years old walked into the room with his friend and then walked out really quick, blurting out loudly, "UH! I HATE CATS" and then muttered something else to his friend and his friend laughed. I'm pretty sure he said something else mean about them, and I'm glad I didn't hear it because I would have wanted to say something mean to him, but one of the boy's parents were with them. I was wanting to ask him why, but I know he would have given me some stupid, idiotic, senseless reason when really he doesn't like cats probably just because his dad or mom doesn't and they have made him *think* that he doesn't/shouldn't like them either.
