Neutered but still interest with female

Hi guys,

I need ur advise in here.
I have 1 year male cat that i already neutered him last 3 months.
I let him free roaming in the house with my other female cats.And last week my female was in heat...im so suprise that my male on top of my female.
Im getting confused....normally when the cat already neutered they dont have any interest with female.

Need ur help and wat should i do???

All my neutered males did that to Pepsi when she went into heat. No harm done, I suppose, but you should get your female spayed if you can, for various reasons.

If your male cat reached sexual maturity before he was neutered, it is not unusual that he might still have some interest, he just can't make kittens.

That is exactly what my vet said My males would sometime do that with Jeanie and Titden and sometimes confusing enough with each other I just think it part of there nature so the tools might be gone doesn't mean they still don't get that since sometimes.
