hey there,
today was horrible. While i was with my boyfriend at his moms house, they told me that there were little Kittiens around so i went out and looked, and found the mom. She was a little lover babe, and bonded with me, and then i saw her babies. Two little grey kittens. I tried coaxing one of them to me, and finally was able to grab one when i layed down some food for them. They were adorable.

Later on I found out the story about the cats. The mom and babies were dropped off down by my b/f's moms house and they have been staying there, since no one knows what to do with them. the neighbor that i guess has been trying to feed them some has decided that they are going to do away with them, and its heart breaking. I would take them, but my mom said no and there still way too young to be taken away from mom. I looked for a shelter in the immediate area, and i couldnt find one. I thought i would see if anyone that is around Grand Coulee Washington, or surrounding area would be wanting a kitten, if not, we all know where they'll be.....
if you have ideas they would be nice or if you want one PM me.

By "do away with them" do you mean kill them? Because if that is true you could try calling the humane animal control officer (if none, then the police station and they could tell you who to contact) in your area and tell them that neighbors are going to harm the cats and you cannot take them in and if there is anything they can do about it.

Can your bf's mom try feeding them for awhile? Momma-kitty will be very active hunting for her family - gophers, mice, & moles, BEWARE!!
and that will benefit any gardeners in the area. It might be outrageous, but maybe you could call the local Methodist church and see if they have anyone in their congregation that might be interested in helping out. It's in the United Methodist doctrine to care for all creatures; that's how I got a kitten long ago - someone threw the kittens in a dumpster at the gas station next to our church, and the employee brought them in to our Sunday service, saying, " Someone tole me that Methodists help out animals, too, not just people"; I was strapped for cash at the time but the rest of the congregation provided food, bottles, supplies, etc. and the kitten grew up to be a wonderful cat.

Is there no rescue group in that area you can call? The SPCA - inundated with cats and kittens - may well kill them too - but there has to be a no kill shelter not too far from you? Can you and your mom take them there - give them a chance at life?? This makes me so ill to think these babies and their mom will die for no reason and help is nearby!!

Hi! I would take them all but I live in Michigan and can't get them. Don't kill them! Call the local animal shelter/contol. If there isn't a local shelter/animal control call the police and if they don't help call the state humane society. What state do you live in? I can get you the contact info my self. You should also warn the people that killing cats is animal abuse. You can get up to $1,000.00 fine and 90 days in jail for that horrible crime. Please if they are going to kill the cat/kittens TURN THEM IN! I don't care if they don't want the cats. They still have no right to kill them. Please let me know where you live. I can find the state humane society for you. Thanks! Good Bye!

I agree that contacting some churches is a good idea. They can ask members of their congregation to adopt the kitties. I think it's worth a try.
