Hi! i have 7 cats, all rescued. One kitten found with its mother several years ago is very overweight now. I thought that since the two were starving, maybe this cat eats for insurance against future lean times if they ever came again. I have stopped leaving food down all day, as "junior" must eat all day. Can anyone make suggestions about kinds of cat food that may help? I have to get this tubby kitty to loose weight! I am worried about future health problems. Thanks, Jon

Junior is about 2 now, I guess she was 6-8 mos when I found her. The last vet visit before Christmas the vet said she had to loose weight. I have never had a cat who put on this much weight.
Her checkup seemed ok other than the weight. Thanks, Jon

do they eat out of the smae dish or in the same place?? If she needs to lose just a little just put less in her dish in her area ... If she needs to lose alot try purina one light ( high in carbs but may be worth a try)
