New Lyrics:

Drove from paris to the amsterdam hilton
Talking in our beds for a week
The newspeople said
Say, whatâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]re you doing in bed?
I said, weâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]re only trying to get us some peace

Christ, you know it ainâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t easy
You know how hard it can be
The way things are going
Theyâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]re gonna crucify me

I will give some lyrics to a song, and the next person has to give the title and artist, and then give new song lyrics to guess.

I will start:

Let's play Twister, let's play Risk. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
by the way, this was "Man on the Moon" by REM

The Ballad of John and Yoko

New:

Some people call me the space cowboy, yeah
Some call me the gangster of love
Some people call me Maurice
Cause I speak of the pompatous of love

People talk about me, baby
Say I'm doin' you wrong, doin' you wrong
Well, don't you worry baby
Don't worry
Cause I'm right here, right here, right here, right here at home

The Joker - steve miller

new one

The graph on the wall
Tells the story of it all
Picture it now see just how
The lies and deceit gained a little more power
Confidence - taken in
By a suntan and a grin

The grabbing hands grab all they can
All for themselves - after all
The grabbing hands grab all they can
All for themselves - after all
It's a competitive world

Is it cheating if you look it up?

Everything Counts by Depeche Mode. Or is it by Flames In? Wasn't clear.

Here goes:

I'm looking at myself, reflections of my mind
It's just the kind of day to leave myself behind
So gently swaying through the fairyland of love
If you just come with me you'll see the beauty of...

Tuesday Afternoon-Moody Blues

His eyes are cold and restless
His wounds have almost healed
And she'd give half of texas
just to change the way he feels
She knows his loves in tulsa
and she knows hes gonna go.
Well it aint no woman flesh and blood..

Rodeo - Garth Brooks

Mr Smith had an Oldsmobile,
Baby blue with wire wheels
I took her home the day that she was advertised
He said she leaked when it would rain,
she sounded like an aeroplane,
but I knew she was a jewel in disguise. . .

Kathy Mattea - Mr. Smith Had An Oldsmobile

*Had to look that one up*

New lyrics

It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about,
Watching some good friends
Screaming `Let me out'
Pray tomorrow takes me higher
Pressure on people, people on streets

Turned away from it all, like a blind man
Sat on a fence but it don't work
Keep coming up with love
But it's so slashed and torn
Why why why?
Love love love love

"Under Pressure" By: Queen and David Bowie

New Lyrics:

Back when I was a child
Before life removed all the innocence
My father would lift me up
And dance with my Mother and me and then
Spin me around till I fell asleep
Then up the stairs he would carry me
And I knew for sure I was loved

Your source is a bit dodgy - the actual title is 455 Rocket.

Cheryl: Dance With My Father - Luther Vandross
(and yes, I cheated on that one!)

I ain't happy, I'm feeling glad
I got sunshine, in a bag
I'm useless, but not for long
The future is coming on

The problem I have when I play this game is I almost have to have the tune to go with the lyrics for my mind to make the connections to come up with the title for most songs.

I'll give y'all one and even give you the group who did it.

I shall tellof a hunter, who's life was undone.
By the cruel hand of evil, at the setting of the sun.
His arrow was loosed, and it flew through the dark.
And his true love was slain as the shaft found it's mark.
But she'd her apron wrapped around her,
And he took her for a swan.
Ah, but so and alas it was she............

Done by Peter, Paul & Mary back in the mid 60's.
Have fun with this one.

In a case of mistaken identity
