Fwan, that sounds like it could be a real problem. Anytime there is a change in your level of conciousness, it should be checked by a doctor. Please call your family doctor and let them know what is going on. Then they can see you and rule out anything serious.

Fran,

Please go see the doctor! Especially since you have had recent problems with that nose that won't stop bleeding.

Sounds like you may need to see a neurologist for those symptoms.
I sure hope it nothing serious! Sending good vibes your way!

I would say perhaps your inner ear, vertigo or something like that, My hubby is pretty deaf do to damage in his ears, but he had something like that awhile back, and it happened to him also when he first got up, try lying there a bit after you wake up instead of just jumping up. But also you do need to have it looked into, but that's what it sounds like to me, Good Luck and take care

Fran,
I was getting frequent nose bleeds (every afternoon always about the same time) and was feeling extremely run down and tired in the afternoons as well. I found out I had low iron, anemic. I was taking aspirin almost daily for headaches and the aspirin was thinning my blood, that along with the low iron caused the nose bleeds. I would definately call the doctor. I had to take iron supplements for awhile. I still have to take them occasionally if I don't eat well.

I agree with everyone else. See your doctor. I hope you feel better soon, and I'm sending some healing vibes, too!!

Definitely go back to the doctor's. I wouldn't be surprised if the heat wave were exacerbating things, perhaps causing circulatory problems. It's supposed to get a little bit cooler on Thursday and Friday.

I'm the opposite. I can't stand daytime temperatures over 20°C. But - your feeling cold at 26° might mean you have low blood pressure.

Under the cats, mostly.
Iron deficiency. Fran I know you asked me about it last night and I wasn't thinking too straight then - but that's exactly what it is. I suffered with it for a while not so long ago. I was always tired, had a headache from hell and got dizzy. I also had trouble listening to people and my attention span was pretty low. It's nothing serious unless it goes unrecognised. Just to check, have a look at the inside of your lower eyelid. It should be flushed red, but if it's white or at least pale, you're anaemic. You don't even need a check to a doctor for it. Go and buy iron tablets, take one a day and cook broccoli, that sort of dark green vegetable. It's very easily sorted out - you jsut have to make a little adjustment in your diet - I found that after I took the first iron tablet my headache went away and after then you'll feel much better. Promise

Now that sounds like anemia to me, but a simple blood test call tell that, so be safe and go

I really think it is anemia as well, especially now you add in the feeling cold part. Your symptoms match what mine were almost exactly. I still would recommend that you see a doctor for blood work just to be safe. But the iron supplements are over the counter and are not a big deal. Until you get an appoinment I would definately add in extra green veggies, like broccoli. That can never hurt.

If it is anemia you might want to ask for some B-12 injections, I get them and they do make you feel a little better...
