Do we have any articles here, or does anyone know of articles elsewhere, that can help our crepuscular friends from waking us up at 5am? I get this question all the time, and rather than write and re-write the same answers over, I'd love to direct people to a good article.

Also, i'm always happy for more insights into the isuue as well.
Thanks.

Dori used to wake me up every morning at 5:30 by biting my elbows!
I feed her breakfast when I wake up so I think she was trying to get it sooner. I just ignored her, as hard as it was, and made a point not to get up even though she had all ready woken me up. She seemed to get the point and realized that she would get to eat as soon as I woke up on my own and now she stays asleep until I get out of bed. Sometimes I even have to wake her up!
You can try to help your kitty sleep through the night by spending about 15 minutes playing before bed. Try to get them to run and tire out. You could also try to give them a little warmed wet food. Sometimes a full tummy will do the trick.
