I was wondering how many of you have issues cutting your feral cat/kittens nails.I have 2 feral kittens - one of them is just the sweetest and sits quietly to get her nails trimmed but her brother is just
- he has some serious issues and wont let me touch his paw much less cut his nails. Any advice??

Just like everything else with a former feral, take it slow. Start with holding him and "pinching" the toes gently to poke the nail out, as if you were going to trim one paw, then give treats afterwards.

As he gets used to you handling his paws, start trimming one paw (or one or two claws) at a time. Give lots of treats after as a reward.

Be patient, and he will learn over time that you are not harming him. If you have tamed her, and gotten him to where you can handle him, you have already experienced a miracle. Good job!
