Sometimes I just don't get it.

I was out on my break, minding my business started to wonder back in since break was pretty well over and this dude walks beside me talking to another guy. He says " I have to go home for lunch cause my cat is probably going to be dead on the front lawn when I get home " WHAT??? I turned around and asked him what he meant. He said, " yep the cat is 13 years old, an old thing really sick, hopefully she will be stiff when I get home" OMG DAMIT
I felt like belting this idiot..
The other guy looks at him like his is a retard and says, "I am on vacation starting tomorrow and I have to go home and put my dog down because he is 16 and really sick the vets said they can't do anymore for him so the family is getting together to be there for him AWWW

See the difference.. The first guy with the cat is an A$$H*L*
and I think the other fellow with the dog was trying to set an example because he must have seen the hurt angry look on my face. I was outraged about his cat. I asked him if he had taken the cat to the vet. "What's the point?" he said, "ITS ONLY A CAT" GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

That is really cruel. I can understand that the animals are on the verge of death... but to talk about them like he could care less is really sick.

I hope that idiot never becomes a parent. If the kid gets sick, will it be an inconvience to him as well?

My husband and I have four furkids, we love them as if I born them myself. I cannot have any human kids, so we've adopted fur ones.
It really burns my shorts when I hear people talk about cats like they were just something to kick around, some people shouldn't have any kids at all, human or otherwise.
We don't allow ours to go outside anymore since one of them was hit by a car, it cost us over $1000.00 in vet bills so we decided that after that, it was safer to keep them indoors.
Each one of them have their own distinct personalities, if that fellow really would've taken the time to know his cat, he would've realized that and perhaps not have treated it so callously.

Sure okay, its only a cat. He is only a human. The "only a cat" can provide countless hours of fun, entertainment, smiles, laughs, beauty, and love. They are precious and gentle creatures that given half a chance return any effort in owning and caring for them ten fold. They warm your heart as well as your feet. This "only a human" is egocentric, heartless, cold, and cruel. Someone who can leave another creature to suffer instead of trying to help it, or if there isnt any help, putting it down, deserves no respect in my book. When someone allows an animal to hurt, or is the cause of its pain, has some seirous moral issues. If we get next lives I hope he comes back as the cat of someone like him.

When he is 95 in a nursing home, what will he think if someone neglects his treatment because he is "only an old man" and is going to die any day now.

His cat is 13. How does he know she won't live to be 16? Why does he have a cat in the first place? He obviously doesn't care for them.

If he did come back as a cat I wouldn't wish for him to live with someone mean really it breaks my heart to think of it.. But I guess for a little so he would understand how people can hurt our little baby gifts. Then I would show him to a true loving kind family and hope that even though he is a cat that his consious bother him for ever and he feels quilt for how he treated his little gift.

A couple of people I work with talk about shooting cats, and knowing I have my cat pictures on my locker in the same break room just

People just don't care about cats, they don't see them as anything more than a rodent.

Makes me sooooooooo mad!
