Into the West

Has anyone seen it?? It's on TNT fridays at 8. It follows a family from Virginia and a members of the Lacota Tribe. I love it. I have my BA in history, and from that standpoint Speilburg did a pretty good job. There may be some things off, but that's to be expected. I've never really studied the West in great detail. It is simply too hard to cover EVERYTHING that happened over the past 229 years in 12 weeks.

What do you think???

I love it! How many shows total will their be? We thought only the 3 two hour shows, be we saw that it will be on again in two weeks.

I'm a big history/genealogy buff, but this one is not keeping my interest and I have quit watching it. I do like the use of the Native American language, though

We just started watching it friday night and have it on now. My great great grandmother was full blood indian(we're not sure what tribe yet im trying to get ahold of some of those relatives) so i love this stuff!

I really like it, too! They did a wonderful job casting the series, as well! I'm looking forward to buying it on DVD when it comes out!

I've seen a bit of it! It was (partly) filmed 2 1/2 hours away from me, around the city I will be moving to
