No, but intentionally offering you something that you knew was CHICKEN stock was wrong...If she would have said "oh no, I just realized that was made with chicken stock.. So sorry! I didn't think!", this would have obviously been a mistake.
This was obviously intentional so it does make that person 100% wrong.
I can't imagine anyone not knowing that CHICKEN stock contains meat.
However, to the original poster, I don't think you can be mad when one asks a vegetarian if they eat "fish". Many vegi's eat fish.
If you stated you were vegan, this would have been somewhat of a silly question. But with vegetarians, there is more flexibility in what people will eat.
Another vegi on here has already pointed out how they "sneak shrimp" and "anchovies" at times.
