The New Boy has a Name.....

I have finally named my new boy! He is now called Jazzy! And he looks when you say it already. Guess it kinda goes with my user name. New folks will think my user name came from him I bet! But that's ok. It actually comes from my love of the Utah Jazz basketball team!

I love the name , my MIL's kitty is named Jazzy and her dog is Razzy

What a great name! I'd read that cats like names that end in the long-vowel sounds of 'e', 'a', 'x'. And that is cute about your screenname refers to Utah Jazz! My brother & I used to have a Dachshund named "Angel" after the CA Angels, but most people assumed it was referring to angels.

I was just checking out Jazzy's photos on your website - he's a real beauty, and looks like he's settling in just fine.

I love the new name, and I think it suits him perfectly.

Thanks everyone! I think it's a good name for him too! Jazzy is settling in well and making himself at home. Him and Jake play together a lot. He likes to wake me up in the middle of the night. I think he just wants attention. He's so funny... he likes to burrow under the covers and then sleep there. Never saw a cat do that. And I don't know what it is, but he likes to chew paper. I have to watch my photos and keep them up from him. But he's a cutie! And the other cats don't mind him at all. I think he likes it here too. Sometimes I look at him and wonder how anyone could give him up and if they ever think about him. I just can't imagine.

I believe it about cats liking names with long vowel sounds. Jake doesn't respond as well to Jake as he does Jakey or Buddy Boy (that's mostly what I call him).
