HI MY NAME IS TARA
I am a new mom i was considered this until a week ago now i'm a new grandma,I have never been a cat person mostly because my husband and his family are so allergic needless to say my daughter last year talked me into getting Cloe and we feel in love and her favorite person is my husband she even started labor and delivered 3 of her 6 babies on his chest while he slept
But like i said i know nothing of being a new grandma .the babies are growing and are healthy.but how do i tell if they are boys or girls i want to keep one of them but i want a male
So if you could help me with this very crital question i would apperciate it
Thank You
Tara

Welcome to TCS, Tara! Congratulations on your new cat family! I hope that you will be able to get momma cat spayed & place the other kittens in good homes as well. As for sexing the little ones, I look for the distance between the anus & urethra - the boys are further apart. I'm sure that someone else will offer much better advice. Maybe you could PM (Private Message) Hissy or Wellington Cats, or TNR1 - they offer good advice. Also, be warned - TCS is addicting!
Look to seeing you here in the forums soon, maybe with kitten pics! Susan

Welcome Tara!

Congratulations "grandma"!
I agree with Susan and you can also browse through the TCS "Feline Companions" forums to learn a lot more on cat care.

Welcome to TCS! I don't know the answers to your questions, but I am sure the experts will be along shortly! If you dont' get any answers here, maybe you should post your question in the Pregnancy forums.

Come to think of it, that must be the highest praise that a pregnant queen ever offered to a human being. And I thought I was special because Basia (1st picture) just sleeps on my chest!
