Hey...I'm making a little book of my favorite quotes, but it's rather short. Anyone have a favorite quote, saying or short poem they would like to share? Thanks!

I like this one:

"When you try to understand everything, you will not understand anything. The best way is to understand yourself, and then you will understand everything."

I always liked, "When it's dark enough, you can see the stars."

My fsv (tho I paraphrase it to make it more pc) is the classic Edmund Burke quote "Evil flouishes when good people do nothing." I try to live by that. (I saw this online attributed to Jedfferson but Jefferson, a liberal, borrowed it from that quintiseential Tory (NOT a conservative in the US sense but more in the British tradition) Burke.

My favorite is:

This one was in the newspaper the other day:

Cats don't have names for everything because they know who they are; we have names for everything because we don't.

"I don't like the look of this"

That line is in every single Star Wars movie!
