Shredded paper game!!!!!!!

A while ago while I was taking shredded papers out of my garbage can, some fell on the floor... Well, I found out that my cats LOVE playing with shredded papers. I dumped some shredded papers on the floor today and I finally got some great pics of them and am posting here. It was HARD to decide which ones to post- I decided I will post various thread with themes and this one is the Shredded paper game!!!! In the next week, I will be posting various pics in various threads so keep ur eyes open for those also! I also have some videos of them playing with shredded papers. Beginning of the shredded paper game!!

Zebra & Buddy thinking: "What has gotten into Meowmy! Why did she dump all the white crinkly stuff on the floor!?"
Pepper: I'll just stay here under the chair until I know for sure that's safe..


Buddy: *sighing* Why does Meowmy keep throwing that at me!?
(U can see Pepper peering out from under the chair in the background.)


Tango: Hey! Where did that darned white thing go? How can I find it in this haystack?!


Tango: WAIT! I can't see! Help!!!!!


Spike: Do I look cool with those on me?? Will gals like me with this? Hmmm..


Tango: Now for the grand finale I will jump up in the air reaching for that white thing....
Pepper: *giggling* I rate that jump a 5!
Buddy: *snickering* Nah.. I'd rate that a 2!


Spikey(on top): Where did that white strange looking mouse go?
Zebra(on the middle shelf): I see it down there near you!
Tango(on bottom): Where? Where? I don't see it!


Pepper: Ahhh.. This isn't too bad..
Tango: *thinking "Should I jump at Pepper scaring her now or wait? Hmm. Difficult choices to make!"


Zebra: Hmmm.. Will that taste better with mouse gravy on top?


Zebra: All u need to do is use ur claws to pull it toward u like this..
Buddy: Geez.. I'm not THAT DUMB!


Pepper (on right side): Whatcha have over there Zebra?
Zebra: Nothing!!! Nothing... Don't come over here!


Spike (top): I'm the KING of the World!
Zebra (middle- hidden): Yeah and I'm pulling ur tail!
Buddy (bottom left side): Jeez.. Can't they see that I am the KING of the UNIVERSE??


Pepper: Gosh, that's really interesting reading! I wish Meowmy hadn't shredded this up- now I'll never know how it ended..


Pepper: I know.. I know.. I know I am beautiful.. U're making me blush.. Good night to u ladies and gentlemen...

LOL! Hmm....how long did it take to clean up? Mine tend to shred thier own paper....but that kind looks like more fun!

Not very long- I used a broom to sweep most of it up, dumped it in a bag then vaccuumed the bits up.. I'd say about 5-10 minutes. Not bad and WORTH it to see the antics of the silly cats!

Now I know what to do with my shredded papers. Great Pictures.

That's a really cool idea, they look like they had a blast!

Dang! That looked like fun ! Hubby made the comment "...like a pile of leaves and a bunch of kids."

My shredder shreds stuff so small that I dare not dump it out, though. I'd be finding paper shreds for years .

Those pictures are great your babies are spoiled . Got to love that we do that newspaper thing, after we read it, we single the sheets, crinkle it and throw them on the floor, the babies love the crinkle sounds. They can play forever.

Looks like your little ones really enjoyed that! My guys scratch ANYTHING paper... especially when I'm in the midst of reading the newspaper.

Cj shreded the phone book yesterday. It was in tiny little shreds. I lost about 15 yellow pages. funny thing is this morning there was the new updated phone book outside my door. So he had fun, and no harm done!

Yeah, I know the furkids are spoiled rotten! And they KNOW IT! They have me wrapped around their paws.. I have cleaned the shredded papers off the carpet and the shredded papers is in a closet for now waiting for another time..

i want to get one because we get so much mail and i dont want people to see! when i throw them out of course!

Great idea for a fun diversion. But how long did it take you to clean it all up?

I have fallen in love with Zebra. Are all of your kitties related to each other? They are beautiful.

Yep, I have a paper shredder- can't live without it! Yeah the first time I accidently dumped shredded papers on the carpet, I picked it up and it took forever. It wasn't until I was ALMOST DONE that I thought of the broom! So last sat after I dumped the papers on the carpet for cats to play with then when it was time to clean, i used the broom to get most of it then vaccuumed the rest and it was a lot faster!

THANK you for the compliment! I think they're beautiful too... the only kitties that are related are Buddy and Spike- from the same litter- they were found in a park when they were only 4 weeks old. Zebra is the oldest, Buddy/Spike are the 2nd, Tango is 3rd then Pepper is the youngest. Tango is the newest addition to the family (and the last addition hopefully!)
