Yikes! Guess Wellness is out!

Fed my new cat Wellness wet this morning for the first time after giving her wet Nutro all week.
I came home from work tonite, she didn't meet me at the door, didn't come immediately out from the under the bed. She came out for about 5 min, now she's back under there, not coming out when i call her.

I wonder if she has an upset tummy? Did something happen I wonder? I tried to give her a treat that she usually likes, and she didn't want it. I guess she doesn't like Wellness. Poor kitty.

I think i will just leave her alone tonite, maybe when i go to bed she will jump up on there with me. hopefully tomorrow she will come out and feel better.

Aw Poor baby. I don't know what Wellness is but I've heard bad stuff about it.

well, she came out, but she's very despondant and laying on the couch without me which is odd.

Last time I checked, Wellness has garlic in it. Some kitties are particularly sensitive to it (it's in the same family with onions and lilies, and it can be toxic). It's possible, though, that your kitty's behavior is unrelated to the food. Perhaps there was some sort of loud noise that scared her. I would keep an eye on her, and if she doesn't eat by tomorrow night, seek medical advice.

Well, she came out but didn't lie on my lap on the couch last nite as per usual since the moment i got her. Then when i went to bed she didn't come either, and when i woke up in the middle of the night she wasn't there. But then this morning early she hopped up beside me in bed and is acting pretty normal again, even meowing when i went into the kitchen expecting wet food. But i'm not going to give her the rest of the Wellness, i will just go out and buy some more Nutro and stick with that.

I don't know, my instincts tell me it was the food, especially when she woudln't eat her favorite treat when I tried to give it to her last nite, but she would eat it this morning.
