Dang, I wish I could remember what website I saw this off of recently. In the last few days I watched a video of some woman, who as a rebuttal, ate at McD's every day for a couple of months I think and lost weight! She said she actually ended up doing it for 90 days and lost 30 pounds! But she didn't have the same thing every day, and she managed the calories she was putting in her mouth. Which is what everyone should do. You simply cannot put 5000 calories in your system every day and not gain weight. At least not unless you're a marathon runner or some such.

Oh Cheryl, I'm just so glad I'm not the only one to have done that....did it at Chick-Fil-A once, after waiting 15 minutes in the drive-thru

If it makes you feel any better I have those days everyday!!!!

I guess it is the fact that I am 23 years old... I have 2 baby girls, 1 husband (as if I need more than that
) My 15 year old brother in law moved from Mexico 2 years ago to live with us so he can start his life good, I have 8 cats and I am right in the middle of opening our DREAM restaraunt in my hometown in Louisiana!!!
That is enough to drive any out of their mind......

But ya know.... I just can't complain.

I see your point, though. I never assumed it was a documentary, just a "reality journalism" experiment. You know, demonstrate the absurd by being absurd.

HELLOOOOOO

What happened to this thread?
I think it was hijacked
by the McDonalds advocates and critics!!!!

Where'd my funny story go? Suddenly we have a debate about a video/movie and the quality of food that fast food restaurants serve, i.e., McDonald's.

Well now it's official, we are now all considered:

Ikes.....yep I guess it was......I forgot to mention that I've done it before. When I worked at a Dairy Queen I had a few people do that too.

LOL!!! Actually I'm not. I hope other people didn't take me seriously. I should have added more than just a wink to all those silly exclamation marks. Something that would actually get a serious and passionate sounding response from me in this forum would be exceedingly sexist and stupid remarks from a male point of view. That happened only once when an idiot started replying in one of Tigger's threads. I watched to give him a chance for redemtion as well as get slammed by the other members, but he never apologized, so the hydroaxe decided to do a little cutting. My posts got deleted, but he still got the message.
Anyway, MacDonald's doesn't make anything I'd want to eat every day, so I don't really care. I was just being absurd too.
It just wasn't funny!
Cheryl, sorry for participating in the hijack. -Back to wondering why some restaurant employees are a little dense.

Oh that's funny! I've never done that at a fast food place but I have done it at the grocery store before.

I wouldn't call the guy who did supersize me a joke or an idiot. He made a valid point. Believe it.... there are a lot of people who only eat at fast food places and that's it. It's also true though, that a little McDonald's once in awhile isn't going to kill ya! It's all moderation and portion sizes!
