It's probably just as well we got married at the courthouse (I wore cowboy boots and a motorcycle jacket LOL) as I'm so fond of "sparklies" that probably any gown I picked out or made would've looked like a chandelier

As a dressmaker, I second that. Also, order far enough ahead of time, to allow for alterations. Off-the-rack wedding gowns always need a little "nip and tuck". You'll also want to find the right undergarments, to go with it. See if they'll throw in a petticoat, too.

thanks yes I am a simple gal but i like to loook girlie once in a while plus i plan on riding my mare down the isle (outside) so i think that will allow for the movement to sit on the side saddle.

thanks. I have a petticoat *heh* I have rennisance gowns i wear every year and have several diffrent sttles
hehe tank you for the advice.

I am getting it well in advance, our wedding isnt until May 21st of next year

I have a pattern of almost exactly the same dress for when I eventually get married! *looks at John expectantly* lol He wants to wait until he's done with his apprenticeship... Im impatient!!!! haha Annnyway.. we want pictures when you get it!!
