Now that sounds like a functional and useful product!! I don't need one at the moment, but I do know someone who may need something like that.

Cool - it makes me think of Tania, because she "designed" something like that in a thread here about "dream products". My sister could use a couple in XXL, to keep her one cat away from the dogs' food. He chases the dogs (one of which is a St. Bernhard) away from their food, and gorges on it, instead of eating his cat food.

I could use that for sure. It's a daily battle trying to keep portly Annabelle out of kitten Isabelle's food and vice versa. Issie likes diet food for some reason and of course Annabelle goes for the more fattening type.

Fwan,

It is to keep one cat away from another cat's food without a major battle, or to keep a dog from robbing the cat's food bowl. Some people with more than one cat, have the problem of the alpha cat chasing others away from the food bowls before they are done eating. This causes obesity over time on one cat, and this product would solve the problems encountered with that.

I think I could definately use one of these things, as Shane is overweight, and my other two are slender. I have been wondering how I could limit Shane's food intake, while allowing the other two to be able to eat more.

I wonder if I can get one with 12 collars? I am having the fat battle with 1 cat of 13. The cats don't battle each other over food at all, he just slides up to the food bowl anytime any cat is there - he just likes to socialize at the food bowl. Hmmmm.....

Do you know where I can find a picture of this? I went to the page but can't find a picture. I have a cat who needs to lose weight really badly and this sounds like a perfect solution to giving her special food without all the others eating or her eating everyone else's food. Thanks
Mary
