This is the newest story about the Jessica Lundsford abduction and murder.

***WARNING*** THIS IS A GRAPHIC NEWS STORY CONTAINING PARTS OF THE ACCUSED'S CONFESSION OF THE ABDUCTION, ASSAULT AND MURDER.

When I read this story, I alternated between tear welling in my eyes and bile rising in my throat. I intellectually understand why we don't allow torture, etc. but this case, and this story, really makes me wish we did. And I really think this is a good example of why the death penalty is still allowed. This piece of garbage should have no right to exist if even half of his confession is true.

Heidi, reading that story brought me to sobbing....the absolute terror that that poor girl experienced at the hands of that monster....Heidi, I agree with you....nothing that we could do to this monster could be too cruel.
Though it would never undo what he has done, he deserves to spend what remains of his life in nothing but physical and emotional pain and agony.

Unfortunately, the safest place for him is on death row. He'd be protected until he's executed. Sorry?????????????? Yeah, sorry he was born!

I read the same article on CNN this morning and it sickened me! I can't understand why people that do these things are put on this earth???? I hope he gets what he deserves, that he suffers as much as that poor child did!

I guess it would be bad of me to wish that he gets raped and suffocated while in prison.

And yeah I wish also that Jessica's dad could be alone with him for about 30 minutes. Or any father of a little girl, for that matter.

I don't think this article should have been released for some journalist to make a buck off this poor family's heartbreak. It was just sickening and sensationalist. Kudos to my hometown police department, Augusta, GA, for catching him.
If any of you are Bill O'Reilly fans, he is calling for the heads to roll of several people involved in investigating, prosecuting, and reporting this case. It is being handled so badly, they are creating the possibilities of technicalities. How horrible that this could be handled so poorly that he could be let go!

I didn't know that there was any potential of him being let go. That is horrendous, although I don't think he would live very long if he were.

As far as the sensationalism goes, I have mixed feelings about it. Jessica's dad has kind of been in the limelight, I believe by his own choosing. His speaking out has helped get laws changed against these low-lifes.

No apologies necessary, IMO. Hell is where he belongs, the sick #$@%*. If he gets let go, it would be wrong, wrong, wrong. I know our justice system has some problems, but I hope it isn't that bad.

This is the reason I am soooo protective over my girls.

We right now live in Missouri and all of my family and my husbands family do not live here.
I actually take my girls to work with me instead of getting a babysitter. I am lucky to be able to do that. My husband is the boss.

But that poor little Jessica. A parents worst nightmare!!! her parents are in my thoughts.

He asked for a lawyer 7 times!!!! Now, I support law enforcement fully, but this is a HUUUUUUGE nono. If he gets off scott-free because of this, I'd want those officers' badges!

I also wanted to add that I am a firm believer in people who do things like this have the same exact thing done to them.
