I totally forgot about the Cheesecake Factory!! They have the most amazing turkey burger. Holy cow, that thing is good. And the Godiva chocolate cheesecake is so good it could make me cry! I just wish the Olive Garden still carried it! We do have the Cheesecake Factory black tie mousse cake and white chocolate raspberry cheesecake- although they are called something different at the Cheesecake Factory.

I'm not a big fan of cheesecake.. infact I haven't gotten it when I've been there but they just have such good food and service. I went to one out in Las Vegas and one here in Jersey and I had a great dinner each time. I can't wait to go again.

We don't have chains here, thank goodness - i like individuality in restaurants, but when I go Stateside I do enjoy a trip to Ruth's Chris. I can never finish anything though!

There's a fair number of places I've never heard of before. I like Hy's Steak House and The Keg.

Hmmm, lessee. . .

For breakfast anytime (I've done 2 am to 8pm) IHOP

I will *never*
eat at Olive Garden again now that I've discovered Johnny Carino's.

I stopped caring about Red Lobster when I discovered I could duplicate their biscuits with Bisquick, garlic powder and cheese. The rest I can get at any decent seafood joint.

Locally, there's a group called Jaker's which has one of the most creative menus in the area and I've never had a bad meal there. Every time I go I try something new.

But the best sushi comes from the little mom-n-pops, so I'll have to continue to get my fix there. . .

Not to knock your choices, but I hate TGI Fridays. Went there once, and I ordered a burger... it came back RAW! Completely RAW... not only that, but I ordered it well done. My parents went there once after a Christmas party with my sister, her husband, and a couple of other people. They picked up the check, paid with debit, and since they had a large party, left a $20 cash tip on the table. Well, when my mom checked her bank account and the waiter had given himself an extra $20. On the check, he changed what said $80.00... he circled the 8 so to make it a 0, and added a 1 in front of it... it went from $80.00 to $100.00 plus the twenty dollar tip of cash. We called, the guy was fired, and our meal was paid for, but it sure was a hassle. We won't go there again, except to use the free appetized coupons we got!

I forgot about Claim Jumper! The one we have locally is NOT good, but my DH and I have been to others that we really liked.

I like Rubio's for "Mexican" (not authentic), but prefer to go to mom-and-pop places around here for real Mexican food. We like Oggi's Pizza too. There are a few in AZ, but most are in SoCal.

Hmmm...I just realized we really don't go to chains!

Has anyone else been to a buffet called the Golden Corral?? The only one I know of is in Central Florida and it is the best buffet restaurant I have ever been to. Last time I went to Florida (only for a few days) we ate there for dinner every night. haha

Yeah, that's my g-pa's 2nd fav. He loves Ryans, but Golden Corral is his second choice. My dad likes it, too. Oh, and CiCi's Pizza... they LOVES CiCi's!

Could you PM me the recipe for the Red Lobster biscuits?

I've never eaten at Golden Corral but I've certainly driven past one enough times.

Oh and my boyfriend and I LOVE Cici's! We were just talking about their cinnamon rolls last night!!!

You buy Bisquick, and it's right on the box.
We make them all the time, too.
