the Blue Angels?
The Blue Angels are in Evansville as part of the Freedom Festival, our 4th of July celebration.

On Thursday afternoon I presented a program on rocks, minerals, & fossils to local Webelos to help them with their geology badge. Nine year old boys can be loud enough (and hyper, just having been cooled off by a local firetruck) but then I discover that the Blue Angels are practicing their maneuvers over the area!
Ever try to outshout a figher jet? I did, to a point. Then one flew low - directly overhead.
That shut me up.
