As has already been said, she sounds like a scam artist who will even view her friends as "marks". I say RUN....RUN...fast and hard away from this person. You mentioned a couple times how she needs money (which is no excuse for what she did)...maybe she should get a job or 2, instead of ripping off the insurance companies....and her friends!

Good luck!

With friends like her who needs enemys? I am sorry that she hurt you but she isn't really a friend! Friends don't act like SHE is acting, it was a "user" friendship, you were HER friend while she USED you. As the others have said, "run RUN" and good riddance to bad rubbish!

Yeah totally go through insurance. That way it's not personal, and there is a record forever that it was paid for. The adjusters also will investigate if there was prior damage, so maybe his company will even get a break for that.

YOU'RE FRIEND IS WRONG!!!!!!!

Has she never heard of insurance fraud??? It's against the law. And she should be ashamed. And you are a better person, and need to realize now that the only mistake you made in this situation was trying to be overly generous. I am sorry that your "friend" put you through all that, and I hope that she doesnt come after your uncle for a huge sum of money that she is not entitled to. Good luck with that, and keep us posted on what happens with it.

Your "friend" is greedy, plain and simple. It's at times like these that you realize who your true friends are. I wish you the best, and may she get caught for insurance fraud.

This is insane! I am stunned that you had the patience to write out that whole story. I guess you are just extremely fed up....needed to vent. Heck, you've been patient enough to deal with your friend. If anyone acted that way toward me I'd take them OFF my friend list. No one needs people like that in their lives. Do not feel bad for mistakes!!! On top of that you tried to completely take the situation off her back.

You may want to consider making copies of all correspondence with her, and having witnesses to any conversations. This sounds like how people end up on Judge Judy!
