Trust me, if it can be done, I can do it! I was backing up our Expedion to the front door of the bakery to load up some stuff.....had the back door up like I always do so I can get "as close as possible".......dingbat here must have been at a bit of an angle 'cause I backed the corner of the SUV door into the glass front door! Yup, now I get to replace the big peice of glass 'cause I BROKE it!!!

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. I was at a video store and backed into a concrete block (didn't realize it was there). I had to replace the tailpipe and exhaust system on my car. So, if it makes you feel any better, I'm a klutz too.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry to hear that. The important thing is that u're okay and no one has been harmed..

Maybe this will help u feel better- my older sister drove into her garage a couple years ago.. WITH the GARAGE DOOR CLOSED! The whole garage door and the machine that opens/closes the door had to be replaced AND her car had to be fixed. I heard her hubby wasn't too happy about that.

So tell me Cindy, about what time did you do that this morning
? Must be something in the air today here in 'Bama
; I managed to back (glancing blow) into a railroad tie retaining wall while coming out of a friend's drive this morning. I haven't backed into anything in ages ... Put a nice scrape on the lower plastic on the rear of the Cutlass ...

I was on Dayquil a few years ago and backed my pretty, unscathed black MX6 into a concrete wall. *duh* Dayquil = Balloon Head.

My neighbor Ashleigh recently backed her Corvette THROUGH the garage door. Through it! She just floored it and took off. Forgot the door was down.

I also backed into my ex's Jeep last year cuz I was angry, forgot it was there. *smack* right into it.

Something about being female and backing up I think.

That's what my hub thinks!

I've backed my Expedition (the one before this one) into the side of my mom's Acura (and I was the one who parked her car there the night before)

dad's trooper into the store's dumpster

when I was a teen I backed the family pickup into a rock wall (ok, it was dark, and I couldn't see it)

backed our work van into a ladi'es cadillaic.....

sigh.......

Yep. Our garage door is three inches wider than our car (old house, VW Passat), and I've managed to take off a side mirror 2 or 3 times while backing out. The only things that make me feel better about it is that my husband has done it more often than I have, he's the one who insists on a large car, and it's his bike in the garage that forces us to pull out a bit to the left. The car has got to go!

Ok I have a simular story... my mom told me to back the car I shared with my brother and sister around the huge pile of mulch she had delivered. I told her I would rather not, and my brother was right there so he could do it. Well, she insisted I do it. Ok just to set the scene, we have a regulation size backetball hoop right next to ur drive way filled with cement so it won't move (that was my dad's great idea) Well I start to back up and I truned the wheel and BAM the side of the cat hit the hoop, and the hoop won. So we had a huge dent in the side of the car until it "died" the next month.
