I agree, many of those laws already exsits. The problem is enforceing them. You need witnesses see you burn a flag or cross in order to get any type of case started. Until it's easier to find who is doing this, passing an amendment will not stop it and frankly is wasting the time of our congress people. They have more important things to worry about the someone burning a piece of cloth that I have never heard of that happening in the US since Vietnam. Like I said earlier, someone who;s most likely up for relection next year just wanted to rap himself in the flag to prove what a good leader he is.
