I wanted to share a funny experience with my cats last nite that had me laughing my head off.
Last nite I was trying to do homework then surfed TCS but while I was attempting to do this, Spikey kept demanding my attention so I decided to quit doing homework/surfing TCS and have "playtime" with my cats....
I had a garbage can full of shredded paper and I got the idea..
of dumping it all out on the floor for cats to play with. MAN... THEY LOVED IT!!!!!!! It was in a big pile and most of the cats leapt into it sending papers flying everywhere then they started moving real fast thru the papers and acting like they were trying to catch something. I grabbed some papers and dangled them over cats' heads and the cats would sit on their back legs and try to catch the papers with their front paws and teeth. They'd be going crazy trying to catch the papers.. Within 20 min, the shredded papers were spread out in the kitchen, dining room, and living room!
I also would rake my hand thru the papers on the carpet back and forth and the cats would be trying to chase the papers and my hand at the same time. HILARIOUS...
Several times, the cats (mostly Tango) got a bit too excited and would jump on another cat to wrestle and the other cats are already over stimulated so a few wrestling matches got a bit too INTENSE for a few seconds..
Before I went to bed, I gathered most of the papers into one pile again in the living room.. This morning when I got up, there were papers in bedroom, hallway, living room, dining room and kitchen.. The only room that didn't have papers was the bathroom! The papers are still on the floor when I left. I plan to gather all of it up tonight and put it in a bag so it'll be used again later on. (I don't want cats to get bored with this game!
)
U guys should try this with ur cats and see how they react. Let me know how it goes!
